IntelliGolf^® adds Wireless, Color and Beaming features to Palm handhelds and Pocket PCs

Cameron Park, California, March 13, 2001 - Karrier Communications, marketers of sports enhancing software for handhelds, today announced the shipment of the new IntelliGolf version 5.1 golf scorecard software. Version 5.1 adds the ability to wirelessly access over 10,000 Internet-based golf course scorecards worldwide, beam scores and statistics between handhelds and display performance graphs in full 16-bit color. IntelliGolf is compatible with all Palm Computing handhelds and Pocket PCs powered by Microsoft Windows CE 3.x. IntelliGolf is immediately available from resellers located at www.intelligolf.com/proshop.asp.

IntelliGolf's new beaming feature adds the sixth 'S' of golf to IntelliGolf: Sharing of information. Now golfers can use IntelliGolf to 1) automate golf scoring, 2) gather game-improving statistics, 3) tabulate sidegame wagers, 4) track shots for every club, 5) access +10,000 signature courses, and 6) share information between handhelds. Scoring, statistics, sidegames, shot tracking, signature courses and sharing of information all-in-one.

IntelliGolf is immediately available in two versions. The IntelliGolf Par edition is $29.95 and the Birdie edition is $39.95. The Par edition contains the handheld scorecard software. The Birdie edition includes all of handheld scorecard software plus adds Windows-based PC software for keeping cumulative Round statistics, printing scorecards and exporting information in HTML and XML formats. Existing customers can upgrade to the IntelliGolf Birdie edition version 5.1 for $14.95.
