IntelliGolf® Announced for the Pocket PC
Cameron Park, California, April 19, 2000 -Karrier Communications, marketers of sports enhancing software, today announced the IntelliGolf® scorecard software for new Microsoft Windows-powered Pocket PCs. The IntelliGolf software adds 'on course' scorecard functionality to Pocket PCs including automated golf scoring, the collection of user statistics (e.g. drive length, putts and sand saves) and the simultaneous tracking of up to 17 wagers (e.g. Skins). IntelliGolf for the Pocket PC also includes Windows-based desktop software for tracking historical Round performance in 63 categories, approximating a golfer's handicap, printing scorecards, and free access to the IntelliCourse™ golf course database including +7000 scorecards via the Internet.
IntelliGolf for the Pocket PC will begin shipping in native mode in June 2000. Prior to June, customers may download a Pocket PC-compatible trial version of IntelliGolf.

IntelliGolf for the Pocket PC comes in two versions, the Par and Birdie editions. The Par edition contains the Scoring, Statistics and Sidegame software that is compatible with all Pocket PCs. The Par software brings added enjoyment to a round of golf by automating golf scoring, collecting 'on course' user statistics, and providing 17 sidegames (e.g. Skins) for placing friendly wagers. List price $29.95.
The Birdie edition is a full Scoring System. It includes all of the Par's features plus 1) Windows-compatible desktop software for doing trend analysis on all Rounds played; 2) Internet-based download access to over 7,000 worldwide golf courses; 3) IntelliCap™ handicap approximation, and 4) scorecard printing and HTML scorecard web display. List price $39.95.
