IntelliGolf® Awarded Top Scoring Application on Microsoft Pocket PC platform
Cameron Park, California, September 20, 2000 - Karrier Communications, marketers of sports enhancing software, today announced that the IntelliGolf® scorecard software for Microsoft's Pocket PC platform was awarded the "Top Scoring Application" of the year by Pen Computing magazine. The IntelliGolf software automates golf scoring, collects golf-related statistics (e.g. drive length), keeps caddie-style notes and tabulates up to 24 simultaneous wagers (e.g. Skins) on Pocket PCs. IntelliGolf also includes Windows-based desktop software for tracking historical Round performance, approximating a golfer's handicap and includes free access to over 9,000 golf course scorecards via the Internet. IntelliGolf Product Overview
The IntelliGolf software comes in two versions, the Par and Birdie editions. The Par edition contains all 5 S's of golf: scoring, statistics, sidegames, shot tracking and signature courses. The Par edition is compatible with all Pocket PCs, Palm Computing handhelds and the Handspring Visor. The Par software brings added enjoyment to a round of golf by automating golf scoring, collecting 'on course' user statistics, providing 24 sidegames (e.g. Skins) for placing friendly wagers, tracking shots by club, and keeping caddie-style notes. The Birdie edition is a full Scoring System. It includes all of the Par's features plus 1) Windows-compatible desktop software for doing trend analysis on all Rounds played; 2) Internet-based download access to over 9,000 worldwide golf courses; 3) IntelliCap™ handicap approximation, and 4) scorecard printing and HTML scorecard web display.
