IntelliGolf^® v4.1 Announced for Palm Computing organizers, Palm-size PCs and Handspring Visors

Cameron Park, California, November 15, 1999 - Karrier Communications, marketers of sports enhancing software, today announced the new IntelliGolf scorecard software version 4.1 for all major palm/handheld platforms. IntelliGolf v4.1 simplifies round set-up with expanded Internet access to over 5,000 golf courses worldwide, includes international character/symbol enhancements, provides additional statistics options, is Platinum re-certified, continues to offer its unique HoleView™ Scoring System, plus announces its 18-hole ScorecardView™ display. IntelliGolf is available in two versions, the Par and Birdie editions. The Par edition contains the Scoring, Statistics and Sidegame software that is compatible with all Palm Computing organizers, Handspring Visors, and Palm-size PCs powered by Windows CE. The Par software brings added enjoyment to a round of golf by automating golf scoring, collecting "on course" statistics, and providing 17 sidegames (e.g. Skins) for placing friendly wagers. The Birdie edition is a full Scoring System. It includes all of the Par’s features plus 1) Windows 95/98/NT-compatible desktop software for doing trend analysis on all rounds played; 2) Palm-to-Windows conduit software for uploading round data to the golfer’s PC; 3) Internet-based download access to over 5,000 worldwide golf courses, and 4) Handicap approximation. Both versions of IntelliGolf are compatible with all Palm Computing organizers (e.g. Palm III and Palm V), all Palm-size PCs powered by Microsoft Windows CE (e.g. Compaq Aero 1530 & 2100, HP Jornada 420), and the new Handspring Visor and Visor Deluxe.
