Thank you for visiting the IntelliGolf Upgrade area for "current" IntelliGolf registered customers. We hope that you are enjoying many rounds of golf using IntelliGolf. To upgrade to the latest IntelliGolf version 9.x software, please click on the appropriate Section (I, II, or III) below. To find out your current IntelliGolf version number, either look on the handheld's start-up screen or click on the Help/About box in the IntelliGolf desktop software.

IMPORTANT: It is always a good idea to back-up your IntelliGolf rounds, courses, and players database (.gdb) on your PC before installing any upgrade/update. You will find this file in the C:\Program Files\IntelliGolf directory. The file name is "golf.gdb" (unless you have renamed it). Simply make a copy of the golf.gdb (Edit/Copy then Edit/Paste) and you will see "Copy of golf.gdb" listed in the IntelliGolf directory. Then, please proceed with the appropriate upgrade/update listed below.

Section I. Current version 9.x customers.

If you are currently running version 9.x of the IntelliGolf software please click here to download your latest version 9.x upgrade. This is a FREE upgrade for you :-).

Note: This version 9.x upgrade will not install for previous IntelliGolf version 8.x (or earlier) customers. Please see Section II or III (below).

Section II. Previous version 8.x customers.

Version 9.x is a paid upgrade for our (previous) version 8.x customers. However, the version 9.x upgrade will save you about 50% as compared to purchasing a new full version again :-). Plus, once you have upgraded into the version 9.x series of products, then all future version 9.x updates will be free to you (i.e. for the same product/platform). In addition, you will also received continued free access to the IntelliGolf version 9.x golf course database! Note: Customers running Windows Mobile 2002 (very old) should not upgrade to IntelliGolf version 9.x. Windows Mobile 2002 is no longer supported in version 9.x.

A. Upgrade to our latest IntelliGolf "Eagle edition" version 9.x software (below)

B. Upgrade to our latest IntelliGolf "Birdie edition" version 9.x software (below)

C. Upgrade to the IntelliGolf "Desktop edition" version 9.x software (below)

Section III. Previous version 5.x-7.x customers "and" Eagle OTA (Blackberry and Nokia) customers that wish to upgrade to the full Eagle edition software.

• Due to many handheld/smartphone system changes by the manufacturers over the past few years (e.g. Palm, Microsoft, RIM, etc), if you are running a much older version of IntelliGolf (version 5.x-7.x) and did not keep current with the version 8.x upgrades, you will need to get a new full version of the IntelliGolf software (i.e. as the version 9.x upgrades will not install properly). However, the "good news" is that one of our resellers has created a Replacement Copy Program that will SAVE YOU you about 40%. While the Replacement Copy Program is traditionally used by customers that have "lost" their original of the IntelliGolf software (i.e. no back-up, hard drive crash, new computer, etc), this Program will work for you too. Simply click here to be redirected to the Replacement Copy Program web page and select your replacement product. You'll be ready to golf again in minutes!

  P.S. This solution will also work for Eagle OTA customers that wish to upgrade to the full Eagle edition software (w/ desktop and sync software) for the Blackberry and Nokia platforms. Click on the Replacement Copy link above, purchase/download the Birdie and Eagle GPS Option software, and install these products via the installation instructions provided at www.intelligolf.com/tour.asp for these platforms.
