In-Revision Course Access and Software Update/Upgrade Policy

Latest in-revision software: Version 11.x

Your IntelliGolf software purchase includes a) FREE* course downloads for our current in-revision "registered" customers, and b) FREE* product updates for our current in-revision "registered" customers for the same product (e.g. Birdie to Birdie, Eagle to Eagle, etc) and for the same platform (e.g. Nokia to Nokia, etc) and for the same PC and operating system. Please see the policies below from more information. As such, from time-to-time you may be ask to update/recreate your Account for your registered customer status to remain in effect. Other companies charge up to $59.95 "per year" in annual membership fees and/or $19.95 per course download for similar services. Course downloads are FREE* to our existing in-revision (e.g. version 11.x) customers for your personal use with the IntelliGolf software subject to the terms and conditions listed on our copyright web page. IntelliGolf, Inc., reserves the right to change its policies, procedures, and pricing at its sole discretion.

* Note: As you might imagine, traditional Internet access and wireless data access fees are not included with your IntelliGolf software purchase. Please contact your ISP or carrier for more information about their internet/data access plans.

Previous versions: While we wish we could continue to support all past versions of our IntelliGolf products, databases, and file structures, unfortunately that is not the case. Based upon the thousands of new feature requests we get from golfers throughout the world, at times this requires us to modify the underlying IntelliGolf software, course database, and file structures. That is why updates (within major version series) have always been free to our current in-revision customers (now version 10.x/11.x). Since we only do major new version series (e.g. v8.0, v9.0, v10.0, etc) releases every few years, and numerous in-revision free "updates" within each major series (e.g. xx.1, xx.2, xx.3, etc), there is no better time to purchase, or "upgrade" to, IntelliGolf version 11.x than now. That way, you will get the most out of our free "updates" and golf course database access policy. To "upgrade" to our latest version 11.x series of products, please click here.

While "upgrading" to the latest series of IntelliGolf products is not necessary to continue to use your existing IntelliGolf (e.g. version 1.x-10.x) product, file structures, and previously downloaded courses, to take advantage of the latest IntelliGolf features, file structures, and the new version 11.x course database, "upgrading" to the latest in-revision series (e.g. version 11.x) of IntelliGolf is necessary.

> If you are a version 8.x (or earlier: 1.x-8.x) customer, you will need to purchase a new original of the IntelliGolf software. Unfortunately, you have waited too long to upgrade. In addition, we cannot guarantee that your very old "version 1.x-8x rounds, courses, and players database can be successfully converted to the much newer 10.x/11.x database format. * If you have "lost" your original IntelliGolf software and/or are trying to "change" PCs and/or operating systems, and/or change platforms, and/or change products, please click here for your replacement options.

Note: "In-revision" is defined as the latest "major" version series that is shipping for that product platform (e.g. currently "version 11.x for Android and "version 10.x" for all other platforms)

Policy:"IntelliGolf software purchases include a) FREE* course downloads for our current in-revision "registered" customers, and b) FREE* product updates for our current in-revision "registered" customers for the same product (e.g. Birdie to Birdie, Eagle to Eagle, etc) and for the same platform/operating system and for the same PC and operating system. This policy excludes OEM versions of the IntelliGolf software which must be obtained from the OEM due to the unique requirements by/from the OEM.

Policy: "When a new major version of the IntelliGolf software ships (e.g. version 11), customers that purchased the previous major version (e.g. version 10) "within 30 calendar days" of shipment of the new major version, are entitled to receive a free upgrade to the new major version for the "same product" and the "same platform". Please contact sales@intelligolf.com if you purchased a previous major version of the IntelliGolf software "within 30 calendar days" of a new major version shipping to be considered for your free upgrade for the "same product" and the "same platform". Please attached a copy of your original purchase receipt to your email so that it can be confirmed/matched with your reseller's purchase records. Thank you!

Policy: "IntelliGolf, Inc., supports one (1) major software vision in arrears. For example, when IntelliGolf version 11.x started shipping in December 2012, we continued to provide support for the IntelliGolf version 10.x software (i.e. which started shipping in April 2011). However, support for the IntelliGolf version 9.x, 8.x (and earlier) software was discontinued as they started shipping over 5 years ago."
